NAR-SHIELD utilizes polymerphosphonates for scale control; corrosion control is maintained by the formation of a protective molybdenum film on metal surfaces.

NAR-SHIELD also contains dispersants and peptizing agents to keep heat transfer surfaces free of insoluble materials such as silt, sand and airborne dirt particles.

NAR-SHIELD makes cooling water treatment dosage a simple matter of matching colors. Addition of NAR-SHIELD will turn circulating water blue. Treatment levels are easily maintained by using a NAR-SHIELD visual comparator.

 

DIRECTIONS

NAR-SHIELD may be fed either by the use of plastic feeding pumps or in slug doses. Normal dosage of NAR-SHIELD will range between 200 and 300 ppm in circulating water (approx. 1 quart per 1000 gallons of water).

Using NAR-SHIELD visual comparator; check color of water. Circulating water should match the color on the visual comparator. Over treatment is not harmful, though it wastes NAR-SHIELD. Be sure NAR-SHIELD is thoroughly mixed in circulating water before testing. Maintain adequate bleed off rate. Use NAR-SHIELD for control of algae and microbiological fouling.

CAUTION
In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes, consult physician.
